I have acquired and dragged home GBM16. (1928)

Imported in1990 after English owner (since 1970) had decided to settle in Aus. It was his spare chassis but doesn't appeared to have removed much. Busy weekend - hired a car trailer and down to Melbourne friday arfo - GBM16 c7/1928 (engine B5B, - oval web crankshaft and higher compression) is safely tucked up in my carport.

Picked up engine from Alan Lethborgs, then chassis from owner Graham Young, then the remains of Smith & Waddington tourer body from David Maunder - he has remade the whole body on his car (64H5). Left Melbourne at 6am Sunday and drove upto Shepparton Swap Meet. There at 9am, left at 11am - no RR bits and arrived home at 4pm. Took until dark to unload everything and all the following morning to reorganise car spaces.

Having a lovely time going over GBM16. It is surprisingly complete. The original number plates and brackets, the original tail-light bracket (for the divers helmet) is still there although bent.

The bits missing are starting handle, sidelights, tail-light, battery box & fittings & flexible cable cover, klaxon, bakelite angle bracket for HT leads, side shields next to engine, gearbox undershield, oiler caps, corroded front bump-stop surrounds, leather gaiters, large type petrol tank cap, starter motor cast alum end cover & 4 long bolts, and aluminium heelplate.
